What should we expect for crowds the last week in April?
Trying to decide if the crowds will be too much. Thanks.

Since Easter is late this year (April 24), I think the last week of April will be exceptionally busy. I'd guess much busier than a typical year where Easter is earlier.

The crowds during that week will be INSANE. 9am-10pm for both parks = very crowded. WWOHP will most likely be doing the ticketed entry system.

We'll be at WDW April 30th-May 8th. Will the crowds have died down by then (it's just the next weekend)?

I would say no problem as long as you are ok with crowds and staying onsite. We go a lot during high crowd times and love it. We always stay onsite and normally don't have to wait more than 15 minutes at the most. With it busy they have normally have more food carts open and all rides open to capacity which gives you more of the park experience I think.

If you are not staying onsite I would say forget it. We avoid Disney for peak times because its not fun to stand in line for hours. I guess once you are spoiled buy express pass it difficult to wait in line.:lmao:

We will be here the same week as you. I think it is supposed to be alot less crowded this week from what I've read. In fact I am expecting fairly low crowds :wizard:

The best way to guess the crowds is to look at the Express Plus pass pricing chart. When high crowds are expected, the price goes up. It looks like after 4/30 the prices come down through 5/5. GradBash is on 4/30 which is why the parks close early that day so expect CityWalk to be slammed that night.
