last visit was 9 yrs ago..and I have a birthday question

Hi everyone!
We are staying at our timeshare in Westgate Lakes and visiting Disney from this Sunday to next Saturday. I'm hoping it really is an off season. Isn't it right before the Spring Break rush? We are doing one park a day,...probably Magic Kingdom more than once, cause I think its our favorite park. I can't do park hopper cause I'm pregnant and sort of slower than usual. My question is where can we go for a birthday dinner for my 9 yr old son without a reservation? Or if I can try to get a reservation.. where would they give us a piece of cake and sing happy birthday? He's not interested in a character dinner and thats a good thing because we haven't made reservations. heehee

Do you think he'd like the new t-rex restaurant? It's at downtown disney. if you wentearly enough u could prob get in w/o a ressie- but i owuld just call adn they may have something open.

Otherwise I woudl just call the dining line- and if you know where you're gonna be that day (which park or resort area) then ask what they have available for dinner that night in that vicinity.
What kind of food does he like??? It could be really fun to do a show also.
Hoop dee doo is really fun adn they do a bday thing for everyone who's there on their bday.

He may like t-rex. I watched some u tube clips of hoopdedoo and I don't think that would be good, but I love suggestions. Are there any other places we can try without a reservation?

Don't forget if you are actually heading to the park on your son's birthday you can get him in for free
