Last trip to US/IOA was 5 yrs ago, Still have a ticket.

I bought 3, 2 day passes 6 yrs ago, that never expire,and used only 1 day that yr, and the following yr I used up the 2nd day on 2 of the tickets. So I believe I still have 1 day on a ticket. Is there anyway to tell if the ticket i have is valid or just a sovenier from my last trip? Thanks!

We had old tickets we bought from 2001. They were originally 2 days with a 3rd day free that never expire. Our tickets wouldn't scan at the gate when we tried to use them a few days ago. The guy just punched in something and let us walk through the gate. But our teen daughter arrived later at the park and they would not let her through. She wound up at Guest Services and we met up with her. The Guest Services person had to re-do all of our tickets. She called our old tickets "Legacy" tickets and said they were so old that they would not scan anymore. We wound up getting an even better deal than what we had at first, so even though it took about an hour of our time, things worked out OK. Guest services was very nice to us. I don't think she ever actually looked at our receipt, but we had it there, just in case.
