We are DVC members and have gone to Disney annually for the past 8 yrs with all 3 of our kids. Last year, we purchased Annual passes for the 1st time and this week will be making our 4th and final trip for awhile.

Knowing that we will not be going back in 2014 and possibly 2015 I would like to do something special (think Grand Finale, without being too $$ Grand).

So far we are planning either a last night dinner at one of our Favorites (Ohana) or a last morning Breakfast and possibly a quick run to the park of their choice for a last ride. I'm struggling with the prices because my 50 lb (now 10 & 11 yr old "Adults") are not going to eat $40 worth of food.

So...Does anyone have other ideas for something special that would be fun?

I'm sure there will be lots of responses so Thank You in advance for any feedback.

We are also DVC members and will also have made 4 trips on our annual passes this year. I'm not sure of all your kids' ages, but I would try to do something that they will feel like they are too old for or too cool for next trip. Would they like to do Pirates League now? You could go to Pirates League, get the whole family all pirated up, and then play the Pirates game in Adventureland of the Magic Kingdom. You could even split up into teams and race. Winner gets to choose the place for dessert?

You could also try to visit each of the 4 parks in a single day, and ride one ride in each park, and get a snack or dessert in each park. You could share the snacks/desserts so it wouldn't cost you a fortune.

What about something simple, like stay up really really late for the evening extra magic hours at the Magic Kingdom Sunday night, ride Splash Mountain in the freezing cold over and over and over until they finally kick you off, and then sleep in the next day and have dessert for breakfast.

You could split up into teams and create a scavenger hunt for squished pennies. Give each team $10 to work with. There are lists available of the locations of all the machines.

Remember, it doesn't have to cost money or be preplanned to be something they remember. Just be silly, do something on a whim, try not to orchestrate the fun, the best times seem to happen organically rather than when they are planned.

Have a wonderful trip, we leave Friday, how about you?

I'd skip a fancy meal for doing or seeing more

Favorite ride and snacks?

Penny press?

Map out the prefect plan and take pictures at highlights?

Have fun!
