She is handling it really well so far. Some soreness but nothing major.

This Saturday is some kind of expo at a convention center.

The expo will have people talk about camp, the route, safety and getting to know some of the other walkers. I enjoyed the expo my first year.

Is she walking with other people?

Yes, she is on a 3 person team

Very cool. I didn't know anyone when I signed up the first year. Than I talked a friend into going with me and we met people on the training walks and formed a team with them.

I am on the only one out of that group that has continued to do the walks. But I have made more and more friends thru the years. And normally join one of those teams towards the walk.

So what made her decide to walk?

Joe you should sign up to crew. You won't have to raise the money but you will still be apart of it.

It was something she has wanted to do the past few year and finally decided to join her friends team this year.

We are looking into it but haven't made a decision yet.

Very cool. :thumbsup2

Just so you know, you can send her a letter to the 3-day post office at camp. Than just remind her to check her mail while at camp. I loved getting something from a loved one or friend during that time.

There is a deadline for getting the mail on time. It should be on the Philly 3-day web-site. :thumbsup2

You can either be on a road crew where you work the route or a camp crew member. Longer days and the 3-day ends up being a 4-day because you go to a crew day on the Thursday before the 3-day starts for training on what you will be doing.

Just like the expo they have one just for crew members to get to know each other and go over things.

Even if your wife is a walker and you are a crew member you can still be tent mates.

She asked me to go to the expo with her on Saturday so maybe I can pick up some info.

There are so many different crew positions you can do. Depending on much physical activity you can do and where you would like to be placed.

I am sure they will have plently of information for you and I am sure they will sign you up if you decide to do it.

This is where I should be right now. Needless to say I haven't done anything yet. :rolleyes1
