just wondering when summer was going to get here.

Its mid July and the highest temps we've had in Chicago have been in the high 80's I think there was one day of 91 in June, but that's it. We've also had SOOO Much rain!!! I guess we won't have any water restrictions for the rest of the summer.

Just thought I would let you know as I am sitting in my house tonight July 17, with the heat on!!! its only 57 outside tonight!! It may drop to the 40's overnight!

I guess that's why my garden isn't growing as much as it usually does!!!

You just need to come to Florida if you want summer. We have had a very hot one so far.

Guess I'll be spending one night at WDW July31st/Aug 1st while I wait a night to go to my conference at MCO (its actually at the Hyatt) but I'll be like Tom Hanks in Terminal, and I'll be living at the airport for a week!!! It was cheaper to pay for a night (with AP rate) at POP then to fly in on Saturday for the conference by a lot of $$$$$.

So now I have a count down for two weeks. I think I'll just head over to EPCOT for dinner and Illuninations. maybe, but MK has EMH. I could hang out at the pool in the afternoon, then go to MK for wishes??? any thoughts?

Look at you thinking outside the box and finding another way to spend a little time at WDW.

We went canoeing yesterday down the chassahowitzka river. There are a bunch of natural springs in that river so the water is on the colder side.

We saw a bunch of wildlife. Aligators, turtles and we saw 4 otters. Oh my goodness they were so darn cute. They let us get about 10 yards from them and they just continued on playing and diving for food.
