How did today go? How is Ash doing? How are you doing?

Both had a rough day. Plus I am coming down with a cold and just didn't feel like doing anything last night.

It was almost too much on DH, physically, today. When he walked past me while they were carrying the casket I noticed he was carrying with his left hand and he had his right fist clenched so hard and you could see the grimace of pain on his face! But he made it through....and now he's in bed!








It is amazing. I mean, I feel that way for DH and we've been together 25 years and I feel like our love grows stronger all the time. But sometimes you just forget that other couples feel that way too. This whole thing has really reminded me of how fragile life is and how we never know from one day to the next - or even from one minute to the next - what will happen. Our family is always the type to make sure we tell each other we love each other - if anything were to happen I don't want to look back with regrets and wish that I had said something when I had the chance!

By the way everyone - I feel very lucky to have all of you as my friends!

I called the lady that helped me the other night with the accident. I told her what she did made me believe that their are still people in this world who do care about others and are willing to help someon that they don't know.

She said the same thing about the young guy. Looked rough around the edges and probably wouldn't have been somone that you would want alone in your car, but his heart was in the right place.

I am very lucky to have all of you also. Funny how this little internet family came about.
