Morning-Getting ready to head to NC today- it's SIL (the one with cancer) B-Day and we're going to go and see her!!!

And get this- since breaking her femur and finding out about the bone cancer to her hip and spreading everywhere else-well she decided to stop chemo

-we were all sad until we discovered the chemo she stopped was actually making her cancer spread (a rare side effect) and after her doc's convinced her to take at least an oral chemo agent-it is now working

-so now she is feeling better without the IV CHemo and the tumors have shrunk-we know it's not a cure, but it is keeping her cancer in check and giving us more good quality time with her

Have to go drop off DD to school early so she can finish a project-so talk to everyone later

That really is sad. Wonder why parents don't take more interesting in their childrens schooling?

Our Back to School night is REQUIRED! You don't show up you get a warning. It is part of our REQUIRED Monthly PTA meetings. 3 Warnings and the parents and student get called into the talk about issues.
