I wish they would change our school year around! Next week we're supposed to get record high temps and they always end up getting out early a few days at the beginning of the school year because of heat. (None of our schools are air conditioned.)

same here. August is brutal!! some of our schools (100/ 675) have started going year round this year, but mostly more modern buildings (built after 1970).... I would love to teach on that model-- we do 10 weeks school, 3 weeks off, 10 weeks school, 3 weeks off etc.... an extra week at winter break.

school starts wednesday, we leave WDW on monday.... let me see how we can squeeze our return route out......

Hmmmm, don't know if this will work out....Matthew starts school on Tuesday and I have to work until 2 then pick him out. Would work out perfect for dinner on the boat, but then you'd have the drive home. How far are you from NC?

I think I'd like the year-round school idea! They tried that here at one of the elementary schools for two years, but eventually went back to the regular way simply because it was too complicated with all the other schools being on a different schedule.

No not silly at all Kathy-it's the things like this that great memories are made from-you all sacrificed so much to get this boat and you should be so proud and happy about this

Well, it has been a while since I have been on!
Here is an update on me!

This time it is a 3 yr old little boy (yes another LM). He is a legal risk child, meaning they are seeking to terminate rights... yes that means we will have a chance at adopting him . That is where i am now, resting and enjoying my peace and quiet. We got LM today and boy is he a handful!!!!! I have my weekend cut out for me, DH has drill . We will be at the pool most of the weekend I HOPE!!!

Ok that is enough, i dont think i have ever posted that much ... lol

No fun going on here too Kathy-wash wash and more wash-I've been working so much it really got out of control-that and the fact that DS-Kyle decided to clean out his closet to get ready for the new school year-so plenty of wash to catch up on now!!

School starts here on Aug 14th-but the schools all have AC here in Atl!!!They didn't in WI though-just the HS there!!
