Oh, I forgot to tell you guys....
We got the boat with a trailer....and we trailered it to Watauga Lake, which is 26 miles from our house. And we had already rented a covered boat slip for the year! So we put it in the water yesterday at Watauga Lake and then brought the trailer home.
None of our friends know we got a boat yet, but there's an empty boat trailer sitting here!

We just got back from the lake. Went fishing. Didn't catch anything. No, I take that back. Matthew caught one nice size stick!
We're heading back late this afternoon for a picnic with friends of ours. We offered to rent a boat if they'd pay for the gas.They don't know the boat is ours.
So, I've got to run to town for some picnic food.

I am not ready for summer to be over for them!
Well, it has been a while since I have been on!
Here is an update on me!
Well since jan 2007 i have been through alot!!!
Jan. my dh was deployed, then in April LM was sent back to his dad (oh by the way he is doing GREAT!!),
then in August i lost my grandmother.
In September DH arrived back home save and sound!
In October we went on our 2nd..yes 2nd disney cruise!!! then rest of the year was pretty normal (no other foster children yet as of this time).
Most of the year has been OK till March 08, my other grandmother became sick and was in and out of the hospital in march -may, she finally gave up her fight and passed away the end of May.
now most everything is ok.
I got a new job at work, well same job just different area, i am now mon. - fri. 8 to 430!!!
went on vacation last week to Panama City Beach, had a great time, just me and my DH!!
Well while we were down there the Foster care placement people called not once, not twice not three times but FOUR!! Yes i said FOUR times. 1st time was 3 little girls (had to say no on that one, they called on Tuesday we had just gotten down there), five minutes after that they called with a 15 yr old boy(that was a fast NO!), then on the way home friday about an hour from home they called us on a 14 yr old girl(that was another quick no!) then as we pulled up to the vets to pick up DC (dear cat...LOL) my cell phone rang... and it was placement people AGAIN!!! This time it is a 3 yr old little boy (yes another LM). He is a legal risk child, meaning they are seeking to terminate rights... yes that means we will have a chance at adopting him. That is where i am now, resting and enjoying my peace and quiet. We got LM today and boy is he a handful!!!!! I have my weekend cut out for me, DH has drill
. We will be at the pool most of the weekend I HOPE!!!

Matthew has freshman orientation next Tuesday and then they all start back next Thursday!
We went Saturday evening once we put it in the water before we took it to our slip. And then we went Sunday afternoon and evening, and then we went really early Monday morning and then we were going to go on a picnic on it last night but a monsoon came along so we went out to dinner and then went for a very short ride after dinner and now we are just getting back from a picnic dinner with some friends!did you throw the stick back??
Nope, didn't make them pay for gas.
None of our friends have seen it yet. We did have a guy on a motorcycle break down near our house Sunday morning and he came to the door to use our phone. And in conversation he asked where the pontoon boat was "for that brand new trailer!"
But of course!
