I have to admit the winner was beyond me. It was some kind of sphere with a harness inside suspended with springs. When it dropped, the sphere bounced but the harness kept the egg intact.

Her project has to be a container. They are learning about space so it is going to be a space shuttle type thing.

I found something on line that they used peanut butter to surround the egg inside of a soup can than put that in a box.
