Holey Moley. My 3rd Grade DD had to do an Egg Drop project. I was looking up some stuff on line to get some ideas about what worked and what didn't. Everything I am seeing shows it has a H.S. Physics project. :scared1:



They just had something on the local news about school kids doing that and I believe they were high schoolers.

Some the the ideas were really amazing

......my DS, who's in eighth grade, had to do it in the fall.....he was one of the finalists.....[he used jello]

Cool. Jello might just be a good idea. We just can't use anything liquid.

I have to admit the winner was beyond me. It was some kind of sphere with a harness inside suspended with springs. When it dropped, the sphere bounced but the harness kept the egg intact.
