OK. Trying to catch up on bills and stuff. Today was fill out and fax forms day. I just went to the bank, next is the grocery store. Then more bills.

I'm all right. Reading a long thread on the CB about something that happened here a couple months ago. My mom wants to go to the dollar store later, but I don't know when.

Good morning, as I sit here yawning. Saturday here.....DH still sick and I'm going to try and convince him to stay in bed for most of today. DS is getting better and is in front of the TV. I'm still trying......to avoid the sick germs.

As "professionals" at garage saleing, the placement of your items is critical, stuff in boxes doesn't sell, it needs to be displayed. But WE won't be conducting the sale, we plan to hire a company to do it. We figure that we need a minimum of 9 people to police each of the various rooms and areas during the sale. We don't have that many friends we could count on to help us pull it off. So if we hire a professional estate sale company they won't be very happy to find that we brought 50 boxes of our own crap to incorporate to theirs. So we need to unpack those boxes and put the stuff in cupboards and closets so it looks like it was always there.

Ahhh. I think that even works differently here. The last estate sale I went to was run by professionals. There was heaps of artwork and furniture for sale...half of the furniture were obviously not part of the original estate and the artwork was everywhere....no way were all the artwork on the walls there in the first place...and two of the rooms had been set up almost like an art gallery with modular hanging frames.

There was no household/kitchen items for sale anywhere.

The professionals were happy to sell anything that they could make a commission from.

Also, it turns out that the purple dress would have been a bad idea. The grey slacks and turtleneck were perfect, but I would've needed a blazer. Unless you're in a skirt, they require a jacket on top. So my mom went through her closet and gave me some stuff

I know, right? I'm glad I changed my mind at the last minute when I found the turtleneck I'm going to ask for more clarification on the dress code tomorrow when I go for the observation thing.
