Queenie...we're here; you just need to accept that sometimes you're gonna hear stuff or get advice that you don't wanna hear. But credit us with some intelligence....IQ....and EQ, emotional intelligence. Most of us here have quite a few years on you...we don't expect you to accept what we say....just read, process it and move on.

Otherwise, if you keep lashing out, you might find that no one will wanna help you out.

Age doesn't dictate who's opinion counts most though...

It seems that I have a knack for listening to people and for people just wanting to tell me stuff.

DH travels to Silicon Valley a lot. There will be a next time.

I am sure of that and look forward to it. But I still want to get over there. I see all the pics and its like ok DH I am booking myself on the next cruise.

You learn to debate in good ways. I am not usually interested in someones polotics. There are many other things I would rather know. But if it does come up just talk about it. It can be discussed in a civilized way. I learned some things from all of it. So all is good I am not mad at anyone I just kick back.

Read, respond, preview post, look left and right, and then read your response again before you hit submit. In some instances, learn to ignore and move on (I know you don't want to read this but you could learn a lot from Alison in that regard). And think about your frame of mind!

Queenie - grow up a little! We ALL have valid opinions and points of view. Everyone of us. Just because you don't agree with it, doesn't mean that it isn't valid. If you want to continue playing, you need to accept that; not just from us but probably in 3D life as well. Be thankful that someone else has chosen to share their perspective with you and move on. There is no such thing as useless advice or opinions. It may not suit you now...but who knows in the future?

As I keep saying, it isn't about being right. You might think that you are right at this point in time....but that's with the facts that you know at this point in time....who's to say that things won't change tomorrow with more information or if your viewpoint changes?
Don't say your viewpoint won't change...because that will mean that you think you will stay EXACTLY the same.
And who's to say that someone else might not have other facts that you don't know yet?
