Doesn't sound like a good meeting...3 hours?
Well it started that way and most of the meetings are just blah blah blah. The co got sued and it was not pretty they owed managers alot of money. There was always drama I hated it. No matter what hr usually got called and I would get asked did you hear so and so and my honest answer no. One time I was at the end of the table and did not want to partake in any conversation. Oh the storys I could tell.
Office gossip? I always listen but never say anything. It just doesn't pay to get sucked into that black hole. I don't mind listening about people's opinions about the company culture and things like that; but I draw the line about gossiping about other people, particular when it seems like they are gloating about someone else's misfortune.
No it wasnt office gossip it was stuff that was said right at the table. Meaning racial remarks, making fun of people I am not sure what was said but that much I do know. They probably thought I was lying. After that fiasco we all had to go to a bar I hate those places, the one lady was so drunk she was trying to get up and dance on a one legged table. I really wanted to go home this was an over night trip
I could probably entertain a whole room for quite a while.
And Sorry
Usnuz - You entertained me a lot when we met. The one thing I wished was that we could have had more time to spend face to face last January. It was great being able to see Alison twice during that visit and just get to know her body language better. Wish we could have done the same.
Let's just say my world is slowly falling apart...so bear with me....
Well you never know I may get over there by ship! No fly. There may be another time. I might be able to get to meet alison in oct for our cruise. I enjoyed the time I spent with you and your family., Sorry you learn horrible news when we met. I hate to have to tell that to anyone.
