on the one hand you like snarky and have done a REALLY low blow to me in the past...
But NOW you don't like it

Double standards?

Probably....but I never take my anger out on anyone or try to deliberately push buttons.....anymore. I sure did that a lot when I was younger and it was an absolute waste of time and energy and emotion. In the end, the only person I was hurting was myself.
DH and I have been on the brink of divorce at least twice in the past....once I worked out that I needed to stop needling him and pushing him away, we managed to get to real conversation and move on. The other thing I needed to stop doing was to hold on to 'past baggage/arguments' and keep bringing it up every time we had an argument, which was another button pusher.


Queenie - We're all here in good fun. This subforum is titled JUST FOR FUN! We might be snarky and have low blows from time to time....but no one does it in a mean spirit way. The low blow I struck was unintentional....I had no idea it was as low as that....and it was never intended in a mean way....so I'm awfully sorry if it hurt you.

After a real crusher of a landing in Johannesburg , the attendant came on with, “Ladies and Gentlemen, please remain in your seats until Captain Crash and the Crew have brought the aircraft to a screeching halt against the gate. And, once the tire smoke has cleared and the warning bells are silenced, we will open the door and you can pick your way through the wreckage to the terminal..”
