We don't exactly see eye to eye. This is my older brother; not the younger brother.

They are just a little bit materialistic........and snobbish.

Eh! It happens. We see them once a week at my parent's for family dinner. They rarely talk to us and when they do, it's only to put us down. I've learnt to wear double teflon and kevlar around them.

The rest of the family are supposed to be there too...so it will be good.

I'm supposed to bring a fruit platter.

DH is going to pick up some chinese take-away.

I think he's ordered some vegetarian fried rice, sweet and sour prawns and a stir fry veg.


Now I'm getting hungry!

Ah well...just ignore them and eat the good tucker. I assume being snobby they have excellent taste (pun intended) in food?

We don't talk to the only extended family we have left as my Mum and her MIL don't see eye to eye on anything and when Dad's father died she just became a right cow and disowned my dad in essence.
We got a parcel in the mail one day with dad's baby photos amongst other things with no note...
Once Dad's Sister adopted kids she didn't need her biological grand kids anymore...

Eh...life happens indeed...
They're not worth worrying about...

But yes....tucker is always good at their place. And we always know how great the ingredients are and what fantastic cooks they are.

That is life. I think about 50% of all families have 'is-sues'.

Tiring. Yesterday we agreed that we have been biting off too much for the past few days, so we decided to slow down. We bagged one activity and swapped out dinner plans. Funny thing is we have been to three fine dining places in the past three nights!

Last night we both ordered entrees so that we could have leftovers for dinner tonight. We both ate everything in sight!

Today we will definitely take it easy and stay in for dinner. Right now I'm going to take a bath and see if I can catch a few more hours of sleep, either that or work on my TR. I have a few more pics before we get to Julia!

Tub was good, only thing missing was the jacuzzi jets. However I will have those soon enough. Can you believe that trip is less than 20 days away? Actually I don't have plenty of time to update! I'm going to do a separate LIVE TR from Disney about Destination D. But I will probably go back to sleep. I got a good stretch on my legs. My back is nice and relaxed. Mmmmmmm
