Last time you moved

Before I moved to this house I moved 6 times in 3 1/2 years. I have been in Williamsburg since 2006 and hope to never leave.

8 yrs in this house, DH says we are not moving again till the kids move us into an assisted living home

Moved to NC in 2005. I never thought we would stay 6.5 years. We have been in this house for 6 years now.

2006 and I hope to not have to move again for many years. We moved 7 times in 11 years and I am done. Although, if the right house would come up, I would consider it. We wanted a one level house and when we moved there just were not any available so if we found one sometime in the next 5 years or so we would move, otherwise we are staying put until we have to move or someone carries me out in a box.

The house we moved from in 2006 was our "forever" house that we lived in for 2 years

Six and a half years ago.

And we are currently packing to move again. Oldest son will be moving out...I hope! And then it's just the four of us. This house it too big so it's time to downsize...

Packing right now for our first move since 2000. It's exhausting, and I can't wait for this part to be done!

Moved into my new house over New Year's weekend after living in my previous house since 1994...I love my new house and am very happy I made the move but I have NO desire to do it again any time soon, in fact, I'm still trying to get the rest of my stuff moved out of my old house that's 45 minutes away and finish the work I need to do it so I can get it on the market next month.

We moved last August. It was brutally hot. I hope we don't have to move again for a few years.

We moved 4 years ago... Downsized to a Condo now that the kids are grown, married and have homes of their own. Best move we made... Leaves more time for planning and traveling to our favorite place in the world....

2005. I´ve never lived for more than 6 years in any place and I´m itching to move again. We´ll probably stay here for a few more years though.

Last move was 8 years ago this week! But before that, we had moved 28 times in 37 years. A couple of times it was from a rented place to a purchased place a few blocks away, but it still involved dismantling one household and establishing another.

Our shortest move was three blocks, our longest from West Africa to the Philippines (don't know distance, but it was FAR!). To tell the truth, I'm getting a little antsy; I think I need a vacation from being retired.

We moved here right before my oldest started Kindergarten and he's about to graduate from high school - so I guess that's 13 years! We just paid off the mortgage a month ago, so we're not planning on going anywhere!

Unless we have unforeseen financial needs, we plan on being here until we can't live on our own anymore.

DH and I still visit our parents in the homes we grew up in. Ideally, we'd like our children to do the same.

We just moved from South FL to here 18 months ago. In exactly 15 days, we are moving AGAIN, this time to St. Pete, FL. Until DH retires from the CG, we may have a couple more moves to go within the next four years.

Sept 1997. But I moved 5 times in the 4 yrs before that (plus 2 other times before THAT). I am done moving until I retire!
