Had to have been over 5 years ago. It's not that I am out of shape, well I am but i could still physically run a mile but I can't see well enough to even do a skip through a parkng lot without worrying about injury. I went on my treadmill last summer and nearly killed myself. I fell and went off the back of it. Not fun to have rubber burn. I can do my eliptical just fine, I just choose not to.
Today. We run a mile in Gym every week (I got 8 minutes, I am proud of myself ), and my bus stop is about a mile from my house, so I at least walk a mile 5 days in a week, and I also play basketball (well, not on a team, just with my friends) so I get pretty good excercise.
I couldn't run two blocks to save my life, never could. I can walk forever, even at a fast pace but jogging/running have always been trouble. I do eat a lot though! I also have mild asthma, which is most of the reason I can't jog or run...
I walk at least 2 miles 3 days a week. To lazy to jog.[/QUOTE]
LOL
I'm such a wimp when it comes to running.
About 4 yrs ago I was on an exercise kick. I could do 2 miles on my treadmill daily. I decided that since I was so consistent with that, that I could run to the end of my road and back (1/4mile tops). I lived on a dirt road at sort of a hill.
I'm tellin' you... on the way back up to my driveway I was so sick and could hardly breathe.
I haven't tried jogging since... LOL
I usually get in 20 miles a week on the treadmill, intervals of walk/jog, 4.5 mph - 5.2 mph. However, a couple of years ago, I was running (7 mph) 4 miles a day, so I really feel like a lazy sack of ---- right now!
