Due to a last second location change of a meeting (#Irma) I will be in LA with part of tomorrow to kill.

1. Best case is 8 hours in the park. Is it still worth it?
2. My hotel is over an hour away from DL and out of way from LAX to DL. So I'd come straight from LAX then go to hotel after park closes via cab. Where can I put my suitcase and briefcase?
3. Should I get park hoppers?
4. Maxpass seems like no-brainer in this case?

Thanks all for help and persuasion.

I'd do it!

Your briefcase and suitcase may fit in the lockers if the suitcase is small? Someone posted the locker dimensions recently, but I can't remember what they were.

If budget isn't a big consideration, I'd do parkhoppers and Maxpass because why not? I'd try to grab RSR or Guardians on arrival, and then get whatever I could get after that.

It looks like the biggest lockers are 25 inches, so if your suitcase is smaller that that even with wheels and handle and all that, it could fit. They're $15.

Also, another poster said you have to get a security escort to take the luggage past security, so make sure you allow time for that in your plans.

From the airport, I'd go to the DLH or PPH hotel. Check your bags at Bell Services and head for the parks. I've done this a couple of times with out an issue.
The lockers might all be taken and then what do you do?

Enjoy your time in the parks

I can't comment on what to do with your suitcase but I'd totally do it! If you get park hoppers you can stay late to watch world of color at DCA, which starts at 8:15. I think 8ish hours in the parks is totally worth it. It's lots of time, especially solo.

That seems like an excellent option. Nice to know bell services will hold bags without a hotel reservation.

Note to OP: GCH requires a reservation (hotel or dining) to enter the front of the hotel, which is why only DLH and PPH are suggested by PP.
