This is what I think I've narrowed it down to. It's so hard to choose, but I finally got dh to sit down and look at the menus and make a decision.

Aug 2--Animal Kingdom--1900 Park Fare
Aug 3--Magic Kingdom--Cinderella's Royal Table
Aug 4--Hollywood Studios--Hollywood & Vine
Aug 5--Epcot--Garden Grill
Aug 6--Magic Kingdom--Crystal Palace
Aug 7--Epcot--leaving early, so no meal at WDW :(

We are staying Aug 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and leaving 7th from POR. Hoping for 7:00-8:00 ressies at 1900 Park Fare after animal kingdom. Question about that, though--if we see the Jammin' Jungle Parade (4:00), will we have time to go to hotel, frashen up, and make it on time to 1900 Park Fare by 7:30-8:00? Also, the kids will be hungry before then, so we will have to get them a snack at around 4:00.

Does anyone have better suggestions for us?

Why not do Boma at 6pm after you leave AK? It's a very short bus ride. The buffet is outstanding and a visit to AKL is awesome.

Are you unwilling/unable to do a meal on your departure day? Chef Mickey's might be a great departing meal. You can get an 11ish seating which would serve as a nice brunch. It is also not a Princess meal and your son may appreciate that as you have a couple of Princess meals planned.

From your resort I'd take the bus to MK then the boat over to the Grand Floridian for 1900 Park Fare. If this is a dress up meal for your girls I think going post AK is a bad match. I think post MK even Epcot would be better.

You seem to have made your ADRs w/o knowing the Disney park schedule (Aug hasn't been posted yet). Your daily preferences may change once you know EMH, Parade and fireworks schedules. I also need to see an August schedule, so hopefully it will be posted by Friday (Feb 1st).

Thanks for your help, Sept baby. Ds actually wants 1900 Park Fare because Prince Charming is there. I havn't made ADRs yet, because I can't until Sunday. (Feb 3) It looks like matching the calendars this year and last that they are very similar, and therefore I can get kind of an idea of the EMH. Looking at the menu for Boma, I am certain there is nothing there my kids will eat. We were also very disappointed by the changes to Tusker House because the change to Tusker House made the menu non kid friendly, IMO. We can switch days and do Epcot Sat and AK Thursday and go still go to 1900 Park Fare on Sat.

As far as Chef Mickey's goes, my bil and sil said the last time they were there (this week) the food was horrible. Since their tastes are similar to ours, I don't think that will be a choice for us.

We are actually doing Garden Grill and Crystal Palace for ds. CRT is out anniversary dinner, and although the kids will be there, we just felt like this would be the best choice for our anniversary.

This is (so far the best bet, based on previous schedules) the EMH schedule for our week:
Sat: DS am emh
Sun: MK pm emh
Mon: AK am emh
DS pm emh
Tues: EP am emh
Wed: unsure
Thurs: MK am emh

We are not really that fond of AK, so we are not concerned with taking advantage of emh for them. We really want to do DS when there is the pm emh, because that is the only day we are going to go there, and MK will have to be on Sun, as that is dh's and my favorite park and that day is our anniversary. If we are goning to be at WDW on our anniversary with our kids, we might as well be in the park we want to be in and eat where we want to eat. (I hope that does not sound selfish)

Help! I am making ADR on Sun, because I dont want to miss out with CRT!

Here, we go--first of all, I'm deleting CRT. It takes up 2 ddp and there are too many mixed reviews. I still want to do princesses, so 1900 Park Fare it will be. Here's what I think:

Aug 1, 2008--Animal Kingdom--no ressies--we'll just eat a CS at POR
Aug 2, 2008--Epcot--1900 Park Fare--try to get 4:00 ressies and still make Illuminations afterwards, but if we can't get back to Epcot, no matter--we'll be going back
Aug 3, 2008--Magic Kingdom--Crystal Palace
Aug 4, 2008--Hollywood Studios--Hollywood & Vine
Aug 5, 2008--Water Parks (we're gonna add them on this day only when we get there)--probably Trail's End Buffet
Aug 6, 2008--Magic Kingdom--Liberty Tree Tavern
Aug 7, 2008--Epcot--Garden Grill
OR, we are going to Eat Breakfast with Donald on Aug 1

We may switch Aug 6 and 7 so we are certain that we'll see Illuminations. It's the only fireworks show I did not see last year because Epcot was so crowded and it was windy.

We haven't eaten at the first two you have listed, so we are no help there. We love Crystal Palace for breakfast and enjoyed our meal at Liberty Tree Tavern. Also liked Garden Grill, but we haven't been there in years. We have done Hollywood & Vine twice and will never go back...but others like it.

Okay--we've got it down. We are going to take a leap and eat at Chef Mickey's and hope that we won't be disappointed.
Aug 1--DS--counter service
Aug 2--MK--Crystal Palace
Aug 3--Ep--Le Cellier
Aug 4--DS--Hollywood & Vine
Aug 5--EP--Garden Grill
Aug 6--MK--Cinderella's Royal Table
Aug 7--AK--Tusker House

You can't delete CRT. We have been going there since it opened....it's wonderful. I wouldn't use 2 TS credits for breakfast, but would for lunch or dinner. There's just something special about dining in the Castle. The food is good also.....and I'm quite critical of a lot of Dis restaurants.
