WE'LL BE IN DW FROM 11/21-11/26. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW CROWDED IT IS DURING THAT PERIOD. I THOUGHT SINCE IT WAS RIGHT BEFORE TURKEY DAY THE CROWDS MAY NOT BE TOO BAD, BUT NOW WITH WHAT I'VE READ I'M A LITTLE CONCERNED. ANYBODY HAVE ANY FEEDBACK?

It should be fairly quiet upon your arrival. Things will get progressively more hectic until it peaks Wednesday. It will stay busy through Sunday. From there it will drop off again. Last year CBR was at capacity through Saturday. By monday afternoon they went below 50 %. It's what it is............we'll be there again.

Good to know, thanks. We will be arriving the Sunday after Thanksgiving and won't be doing any parks until Monday. Crossing our fingers for light crowds!

THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE, GUESS THAT MEANS A PRETTY LIGHT CROWD--GOOD FOR US ON OUR FIRST TIME DOWN! HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A HAPPY!

auntgee,

I was gonna keep my trap shut here until you said it was your first trip! LUCKY YOU!!!

My dd and I made our first trip (dh had been before-several times) at that time in 2000. It was fabulous! All the Xmas decos were up and the weather was beautiful (except Sunday--it came a downpour but that's even nicer at Disney!), and it was so very festive and happy and wonderful. The Osborne lights were fabulous and MVMCP was lots of fun.

The crowds were not bad (and I had read they were heavier since it was nearing the end of the Millenium Celebration) and we had a wonderful time. We're going again next year at the same time.

Be sure to give us a full report when you come back.

We will also be going 11/16-11/23. Will the xmas decorations be up at this time? Gosh-that would be great if they are!!!!!

Also, what is the weather like. My 4 yo DS loves to swim!!!! We will be staying at OKW and he would prefer to swim than go to the parks.

Thanks in advance :)

Sorry if I've misled you but it is my understanding that the decorations go up the day before Thanksgiving. I must have misunderstood.

They are very nice and it was so cute to see all the characters dressed for winter!

You may be lucky and get a glimpse of the Osbourne lights at MGM! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc . We did when we were there 4 years ago. I agree with CTPacky as far as crowds went then, and i hope it stays the same! You won't regret going this time of year, we're going Nov. 22-28th.

Everything was going as planned for us until today when i read on the boards here that the PS rates were going up...Cinderellas Table is going to cost me $17 more than what i was quoted  and that makes me very  . Took some of my magic away (for now anyway)....

The Osbourne lights would be great. Where did you see about the prices going up. We have a PS at the 1900 Park Fare the first night we're there. Did that go up also? Thanks for the responses!

I heard/saw about it on these boards, they are a wonderful source of information!! When i called the WDW Dine # they confirmed it. I wrote them an e-mail, and i have the name of a supervisor i have to call. I just want them to honor the rates i was quoted. I'm sure we'll be hearing more about this as word gets out. I'm not sure about Park Fare rates, but if you call, they will tell you what the new rate is (if any).
