there are a few people who I used to be friends with who I can't do it too though, I wish I could. I had a friend for almost 6 years, from middle school to high school. I moved away during high school and was like, "Why the heck was I even her friend!!" & now I see her every now and then, I really can't pretend I don't know her, b/c I knew her for too long for that to work
