hmmm... how come when you edit a post it shows the time at the bottom only sometimes? It used to do it everytime, but now I hardly ever see it on the ones I edit?

usually 2 hours, NOT including our family movie.

they can play video games as long as they have their reading done. We don't have a set time on the games.. nothing is worse than working real hard to get to a certain point and not being able to save it.

Since it's summertime we let them have more game time than usual. Once we start school again, then there is no tv before 10am and they have to have their assignments completed for the day.

My mom just got a name on DIS and now I cant log out of it.

I tried the tech bored but couldn't find anything? Help¿

well kinda. they have to do reading everyday. My dd has to read a chapter a day in her Junie B Jones book.. this is really hard for her. She has ADD and struggles keeping on task.

My ds6 has to read from his phonics book and draw a picture everyday.. he is a REALLY good reader but struggles with fine motor skills.

DS10 is supposed to read a chapter a day in a book that I pick out. Yesterday he ended up reading his whole book, all 136 pages! He complained at first about reading (he just started on Sat, and was on chapter 2 yesterday) but once he gets started he can't stop!

he is moving very slowly though this book.. if it was a pokemon book he would be done already!

T just read Henry Huggins. Next I think I'm going to get him The Cricket in Times Square. We want to keep the lexile up for him. the ones for his grade level are a little to "easy" for him.
