I just don't understand![]()
I would be so hurt if my mom wasn't there when i got married, even if it was on the court house steps! you have to remember Kathy, that you are an AMAZING mom! your boys are proof of that! you have a great family how loves the heck outta you and you have us who love the heck outta you too!!
no matter why she's doing it, she's the one who is gonna have to deal with it in the end. it's just sad that when she realizes what a mistake she's made there may be too many hurt feelings. I really hope she realizes what she's doing not only to you and Al, but to the boys too
I know that someday she'll look back and she'll have regrets. Even if the marriage lasts she's always going to have the regret of not having the wedding she wants and I hope someday she'll regret the way she's treated DH, her brothers and I.
Andrew overheard a lot of my conversation on the phone with her this morning and he was upset. He's not upset over anything to do with her, he's upset because she's upset me so much. He said, "Don't worry, Matthew and A.J. and I will never do anything like that to hurt you so bad."
It's really sad 'cause I think he's just about totally written her off as a sister. Andrew and Matthew weren't all that close anyway when she moved away to college because Andrew was only 10 and Matthew was only 9. And during high school she didn't try to be much of a big sister to them anyway. She has always been close to A.J. though and that has changed a lot too.

-I've had a busy busy week!!!! We go House Hunting today
- looking at 5 houses and we should be making an offer sometime next week for a closing June 1st!!!!

) and she had a simple, elegant church wedding with a lunch reception...just the more immediate family members...all within the budget she had. It really can be done if that is what someone wants....they chose to go this way.
