Morning everyone -I've had a busy busy week!!!! We go House Hunting today - looking at 5 houses and we should be making an offer sometime next week for a closing June 1st!!!!

All pre-approved and getting excited to go look at our prospects!!!!

Good Morning! My dh wakes up around 5am on Saturday mornings to make an hour-long roundtrip trek to the donut shop on Saturday mornings. He also drops off a half dozen at his parents as a surprise every couple of weeks also.

Looks like i'm gonna be going to a funeral soon. I got a call from my "dads" sister Wed that my grandfather is in the hospice. They don't give him much longer. I went to see him yesterday and if he's still there I'll probably go tomorrow. It's kinda weird for me since i've NEVER been close to anyone on that side of the family. I have a couple of aunts that I talk to when I see them and I was happy to see them yesterday and 1 cousin that i talk to alot so it was good to see her

Looks like i'm gonna be going to a funeral soon. I got a call from my "dads" sister Wed that my grandfather is in the hospice. They don't give him much longer. I went to see him yesterday and if he's still there I'll probably go tomorrow. It's kinda weird for me since i've NEVER been close to anyone on that side of the family. Thanks kathy. i'm really ok with it. We were never close, so it's not really bothering me like when my mom's dad passed. That was really hard on me. Henry (mikes dad) has had stage 4 lung cancer for about 2 years already, so he's lived with it alot longer than anyone could have expected. it's just kinda strange b/c i'm not close to them at all, but they did share all the family gossip with me as soon as I got there

No they only have to bring them one Friday after their hire date. EVERY Friday, don't I wish.

DD called a little while ago to let me know that they're going to the magistrate's office today to get married.

How romantic...go to class, get married, go to work. (Of course she wasted no time reminding me that they wouldn't be doing it this way if DH and I hadn't "pulled the rug out from under them" as far as having a real wedding. And although in my heart I don't believe that 'cause they still had plenty of time to plan a real wedding - they just no longer had our financing - it still hurt to hear her say that.)

I guess it really is Friday the 13th after all.

She isn't being fair to us - and asa far as we're concerned she's just being stupid to get married so quickly the way that they are doing it.
