I was off today and have accomplished absolutely nothing. DH was around the house all day and I just couldn't seem to get anything done...except for laundry - tons and tons of laundry done. But I don't feel like that counts.

.... nuttin' yet......my DSis tried to call my brother but our Sis-i-L answered and my sister said that she didn't sound too pleased....I really don't know WHAT is going on...my mom was trying to get in touch with my brother, too.....

...just heard from my sister....they didn't amputate anything [yet] since the infection is [so far] incurable....the Drs. have given him an extra few weeks to decide what they are going to do - in the meantime, they are measuring how far along the infaction is in his leg.....sure doesn't make any sense to me... However, they DID remove his big toe, and, from what I understand from my mom, it was a nasty sort of removal....

What exactly happened to get this infection? And it does seem a little odd they are going to wait a week. It seems like it the infection is spreading they would want to catch it as fast as they could and stop it.

For the life of me I'll never understand doctors and hospitals The whole waiting thing makes no sense if the infection is incurable.
