Just checking in!! Andrew and I found a nice (affordable ) oceanfront hotel on the ocean in Daytona Beach. We're only about 45 minutes north of Port Canaveral.

We're going to try to get up in the morning to watch the sunrise!

Traffic was pretty good, except for the last 75 miles. They are doing road work and working on it at night, so there were barrels and flashing lights and police and spotlights and what a mess!!! We really dawdled all day, stopping whenever we wanted, and it was a very stress-free drive.
