So, how did the hair appointment go? Are you pleasd??

I LOVE IT! Everytime she does it just looks a little better. Don't like the cost involved but at least I am happy with the end product. I keep forgetting to get DH or DD to take a picture of it so you guys can see it.

DD tried on three dresses. (Didn't even try on the first one - the halter style that Liz thought was sexy! )

I can't find a pic of the other one that she really liked. But she was too short for it anyways. Even with 4" heels it would have had to be hemmed about another 4" and then that much of a hem would take away some of the lace trim. Just wouldn't work.

Beautiful dresses. I am sure she will look beautiful in anything she chooses.

I am sooo cold I feel like I'm never going to warm up again!.

I just got back from a fire call. It's 22 degrees and the water was icing on everything.

Unfortunately, the couple lost their home. But at least they were able to get out safely.

I have found one part of the job of FD treasurer that I do not like. It is my job to take a check to the family whenever there is a burnout. How do you face someone and say sorry you've lost everything, here's a little check to get some clothes. It's so hard and so sad. This is the second time in two weeks I've had to do this. At least this couple did have insurance. The fire two weeks ago totally destroyed a home and all their belongings and they had no insurance.

How very sad.

well my Aunt passed away yesterday
and I can't get the funeral off from work
I am NOT happy about that
i am gonna try today again to find someone to cover my shift

Hi e everyone. Sorry about your aunt Kayla...and hope he is well Tracy...and I am ready Kelli ...glad the new mask is better Kathy...and almost there Kim!

I probable won't be on much today...I didn't go to work . My yucky cold is much, much worse. My asthma is horrible, I have to use a nebulizer (sp?) three or four times a day...and I have a pain in my throat where I can't swallow unless I am on tylenol I felt so bad not going to work, since I am covering for my boss while he is gone...but each day I am getting worse and now I am out of breath when I walk too far or talk to long (and I can talk ) I am going to see my dr. this afternoon...hopefully he can fix me up
