that's sounds great Lyn!:goodvibes I'm glad you had a good time. it's always nice to get away for awhile.

BUT

I still can't believe those crazy kids didn't want to go to wdw:rotfl:

...and we went to the Disneystore and my kids were bored and disinterested :sad2: ...so, I am thinking that maybe this year we will skip leaving the state and do more of these mini-vacations. We can hit the beach hotel in March and October breaks and maybe go back to Oahu in late June for a few nights.

it was really nice to get away, even if it was only a night...and yes! they are nuts..see my post after yours!!!! I think I burned them out...DD didn't even want princess clothes :scared1:

i hate to say it, but they may be outgrowing disney already:scared1:

 :scared1: you know, you could be right...I was telling my boss yesterday that I have no regrets taking them to DL and WDW when they were really young....some people said they are too young, they won't remember, blah, blah, blah....but it was the best time...when they thought Peter Pan was real...and Prince Phillip and Cinderella etc. were all real and magical. DS is already onto all this and since our last trip and starting K he tells ME about how there are people in the clothes pretending :scared1: I overheard him and my nephew talking about Santa...I think they know about him too :headache:

so, glad we went when we did...but now I have to come up with new, age appropriate destinations for our family that everyone will enjoy :cutie: I think we will head back to Disney later, but it would be only a day or two in a whole vacation kind of thing and not the vacation itself :confused3

oh! It's so sad when they out grow the fun stuff:guilty:

when we went my nephew was sooo into it, he loved it. We all did, but Andie kept saying that was a short lady in there, or I wonder if it's a man or a woman in there. She wasn't any fun about it

Okay, I know nothing about Ipods. Can someone educate me 'cause two of my boys are asking for one. Do you have to pay for the songs or can you download them from your own music on your computer to the IPODs. I'm IPOD illiterate!

you can do both. you can use your own Cd's and download the music from itunes for .99 cents each. I think someone said you can use Limewire (?) to download music for free as long as you don't share them

plus those prices are really good!! i wish had the extra money to get one right now, but I'm saving all the money I can for my trip
