I was out walking with my 4 year old daughter. She picked up something off the ground and started to put it in her mouth. I took the item away from her and I asked her not to do that.

"Why?" my daughter asked.

"Because it's been laying outside, you don't know where it's been, it's dirty and probably has germs" I replied.

At this point, my daughter looked at me with total admiration and
asked, "Wow! How do you know all this stuff?"

"Uh," I was thinking quickly, "All moms know this stuff. It's on the Mommy Test. You have to know it, or they don't let you be a Mommy."

We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was evidently pondering this new information.

"OH...I get it!" she beamed, "So if you don't pass the test you have to be the daddy."

"Exactly" I replied back with a big smile on my face and joy in my heart.

You should really plan a vacation to Snow!!!! Fly into Tahoe or Colorado and go snowmobeling and tubing and then Hot Chocolate at the Fireplace in the Lodge when you finish!!!! Or drive up to NC Mountain ski area and play in the snow there!!!

I don't think that would work for spring break up here! We're having such a mild winter that I doubt there will be any snow around for spring break. We are supposed to have a major snow storm starting this Sunday, though!

I can't believe I ate almost a whole bag of these x-tra chedder gold fish I just kept eating and eating (they are so good) and noticed the bag was almost empty

I have been busy looking up cell phone carriers. We are thinking of switching and I want to make sure I will be happy before I do it.

DH has two phones now. One from work and one that was personal. Two different carriers. So we are going to combine them and get rid of one.

And everyone else has the one carrier (Verizon) so it seems like we should dump the one that I am the only one that has (Alltel).

Which means I need to go and get set up with Verizon. Which right now they have buy one phone get two free and on a family share plan. So I could get one for me, one for DD and one for my Mom. All share the minutes and only pay a little bit more than I am paying for my service now.
