Hi Kim....so, I have a question for you (if you don't mind). My DNephew is really sick....he has swollen lymph (sp?) nodes and they did (I think) a CAT scan and dye testing ? and all his glands are swollen...but one in his neck is REALLY swollen....they had him on antibiotics...then they changed to a stronger antibiotic and then now his is on IV antibiotics we are very, very worried about him, he is almost 8....the good news is that my DSis lives near the city and he is in the children's hospital right now...so probable the best place in the state for him to be....but they had one specialist look at him yesterday and today is supposed to be the eye-throat-nose doctor.....I know you can't diagnosis via a horrible post....but any ideas on what causes this stuff? I keep thinking that if it is a virus, won't the antiboitics not work...so would it be bacterial....sorry to ramble...

Sorry to hear he's so sick-and yes I'd be very worried too-sounds like it's not a cancerous situation-and that it is just an aggressive infection of his lymph system-it's good that he's getting some appropriate attention-hope and pray he turns the corner quickly

IT'S ME!!! I miss you all too!!! Since I've been staying at my cousins my mom had the cable disconnected, which means if I go home my internet will be diconected too so when I decided if I'm going back, I'll have to have it reconnected

thanks....felt good to "let it all out" and get your thoughts....my Mom is there now, helping with my neice (his twin) and the rest of the family. I talked to her last night but I didn't get much info...but I think they are all worried, tired and worried and very tired and then just exhausted
