DH does

his job is a dairy driver for a very popular store inthe area

he has 7 stores he delivers each day and it rotates every three days
so he has 21 stores that are "his"

to deliver they drag stuff up and down a ramp

well he and his brother ( they both have the same job) all run the ramp
and DH blew his knee yesterday

occupational hazard

but not as bad as BIL that cut of part of his finger
or other BIL who ripped the muscle off the back off the bone in the back
of his calf last month

It is a wood stork and it is UGLY!
eww it took a bit to actually figure out what the heck I was looking at. I thought the white part was the head and I was staring at it's butt

My BIL ( the one I like)
is a Pickle NUT so I would like to make them for him

Here's the rec. I used whole zesty dill pickles and sliced them myself, so they would be a little thicker and crunchier, and I used garlic salt and pepper to give them more flavor :thumbsup2 Oh! and eat them with ranch dressing it makes them tast soooooo much better!!!

Fried Pickles

Canola oil for frying
2 cups All purpose flour
2 Eggs, separated
2 cups Beer, of any variety
Pickle chips or spears (if you have whole pickles, spear them)

1. Heat oil to 350 degrees.
2. Mix egg yolks and beer until uniformly blended.
3. Add flour and mix just until blended.
4. Beat egg whites to soft peaks. Fold into batter mix.
5. Dip pickles into batter and fry until golden. Don’t crowd the oil, do it in batches.
6. Blot pickles on paper towels and salt immediately. Eat.
7. What the hell – you’ve got batter left over, cut up an onion and make some onion rings, too. :)

As a note: This is a good all-purpose beer batter recipe -- and it scales up to larger quantities really well.
