oh and I don't think I updated about my grandfather

he went to the Dr on Wed and his lung is FULL OF FLUID

the Hospital dropped the ball on this one

the ambulance drivers told the ER her Asperated(sp) in the ambulance on the way down
he went from 0 to 1/2 liter of Oxygen at rest to 2 liters of Oxygen at rest and still they didn't see the need for a chest xray

finally at discharge they were sick of listening to my Mom and did the xray and told them he had pnemonia

well his doctor is MAD
he should never have been releasedwitha lung full of fluid

so now he has to have his lungs drained
sounds like fun huh???

What a week it has been

oh and to top it off I get to go to my MIL tonight

So sorry about all your grandfather's going through. I'm glad they finally did catch it though so that now they can do what he's needed all along!

I was just checking on rental units for us to look at -we are almost 90% sure that we will live in Douglasville,GA-so I need to find an apt in the school district I want,but the net isn't too helpful with that so far

Kim - I checked on Mapquest....there are two Douglasville, Georgias. One is in Douglas County and it is about 300 miles from me.

The other is in Early County and it's almost 500 miles from me!

Which one are you looking at??? I'm hoping it is Douglas County!

Update on DD

well after an hour long Dr appointment
they "think" she has a bad case of tendonistis in her wrist

and that with time rest and advil it will take awhile but should start to feel better

Wow. I hope that is all it is and it starts to feel better for her REAL soon. Poor thing.

OMG!!! What is going on with hospital care. You pay and arm and a leg for good service that you don't get in the end.

I am so sorry to hear that Kayla. I hope everything is okay with him.

i guess i could say that cuz my dance recital rehersal tonight and the recital is tomorrow...

I'm back
the kids don't have school today so we kinda just laid around relaxing this morning

so today i have to go to motor vehicle to re registers DH truck since he didn't mail it

and than the girls and I are going to explore a new Library we found
it is only 5 miles formthe house and i didn't know about it until a wekk or two ago

it is small but since it is close it should be worth checking out
