:lmao: :lmao: on our last trip, I gave my younger niece the job of watching our bird and the older girl got the guinea pig...plus I told my older niece to keep an eye on the bird....I figured the bird poops less and could go longer with the same food and water ;)

::yes:: I would love to take her with me. But I can't justify taking her out of school to do it. She has Perfect attendance again this year and I don't want to ruin it this close to the end of the year.

But my Brother has to go to school for 21 days and he is leaving Friday so that mean that my Nephew will be here until at least the 2nd week of May.

does anyone know what kind of cruise Kliz is going on? I was reading on the budget board that they are opening up cruises to Europe (which I wouldn't go on...too far for us to travel w/ the kids) but they looked super neat...then I was looking at the east coast cruises....

I think Kelly said she went on DCL before...I have never been on a cruise and was wondering how it is and what you do besides eat...my DSil loves cruises, but all she really told me about was the food :confused3

I forgot to mention my other fun....

In the midst of the school call and talking to the asst. superintendent A.J.'s teacher called from the high school. Seems he needs a physical before he can participate in the Special Olympics on 4/27!! Do you know what it's like to get an appointment for a physical on such short notice! But I got lucky and they had a cancellation. So I called to tell the teacher that he would not be in tomorrow morning because he has a doctor's appointment. And she says, "Oh no, that won't work, he has the state language test tomorrow morning!" Hello, why wasn't I told when he was having it? And, let's see, what is more important to A.J. - - - Special Olympics, which makes him feel really good about himself or taking a state madated, regular-ed test that he WILL fail. He only has to take the test. There is no way he's going to pass it unless he gets lucky with the little bubbles that he colors in.

Oh, this isn't my day.

teaching special ed, there is always a make up day(s) built in so take him to the dr he can take the test later in the week

That's what I am doing.

Plus the teacher called at the end of the school day to see if he would be there in the morning and I said no. She apologized for having gotten a little short with me about him missing the test, she said that she had a really bad day, and not to worry because he could make it up on Friday. I had already decided that the physical was more important but it did make me feel bad to know she was having a bad day and didn't mean to direct it at me.
