And gave my 2 cents worth.

Went back and read!

Excellent comments! :thumbsup2

DH worked 5 years undercover (pretty deep undercover at that). It was hard on him, it was hard on the family. But he did it because he wanted to help save lives and because it is in his heart. I can't believe that OP going off saying that the "COPS" have ruined those lives. It just goes beyond words for me to comprehend that someone can actually, honestly feel that way!

Morning ladies....yesterday DS didn't want to go to school, but we made him. He wasn't sick, it is just that he wanted to stay with us. We had problems in the past with kids being bullies and the school staff not supervising as well as we would liked, and we have talked to them. The younger classes teacher is really great...it is the older class w/ the problems. Well, DH picked DS up from school and no one said anything about his day. I am spending time with DS when he got home and he tells me that he was waiting for his turn to use the potty, a boy pushed him, cut in line and then started to pee, turned around and purposely PEED on MY CHILD :furious: and so DS told the teacher's aide and the boy was put in timeout. THEY DIDN'T CLEAN MY CHILD OR CHANGE HIS CLOTHES!!!!!!!!!!!!! and DS said that he hates school and it was a terrible day and that he didn't want to tell the boy "STOP IT" becuase he thought it would make things worse :furious: :furious: :furious: I am so p$%$%$^#&% right now...and DH is more upset than me. DS only had a few more weeks of school since he will start K in the summer and we had already decided we were not sending the kids there for summer school....so he is not going back on Monday and will not be going back at all. He will go to our babysitter....I talked to my DSIL last night and she found a great preschool for her DS, which is on the way to my job, so I am going to try and sign DD up on Monday....they only have around 9 more openings for next year, so I am going to try and get there early. I think this will help out DH a lot since he can take DS to K and I can take DD with me....it will also help out my in-laws since DBil works really odd hours and sometimes DSil has to travel off-island, so I can take and pick up my Neohew on those days....I think it is working out for the best, but I am still as angry as a hornet :furious:

You have every right to be angry!!! :furious: I would probably throw an absolute fit with them on Monday. I hope that in addition to not taking DS back there on Monday you are going to let them know why!!!

Everyone popped in and then popped right back out again. :confused3

I guess I'll just have to hang around here and be last!! :cool1:

::yes:: I think DH and I are going to go in and talk to them on either Monday or Tuesday. DH and I decided that something needed to change, and since it didn't seem like they would change based on our previous discussions, we are changing. We told DS that we decided to send him to Mama's until he could start at his cousin's school in a few months and his attitude and disposition are just so happy now....he is usually always happy and pleasant...but it is like a weight it lifted and he is extra cheerful...So we KNOW we are doing the right thing!

I was reading the drug-bust thread and I am in shock...I can't believe the rational is becuase the cop was hot it was excusable...my feeling is guys do stupid things for girls all the time, it is still WRONG! What if a hot girl asked them to hurt someone or kill someone or steal or drink and drive...then becuase the boy had no self-control since her appearance that would make it right or excusable :sad2:

I forgot to put this in my post....but it wasn't like the kid peed on his foot or shoe....the boy peed on DS's face and neck (and I would think it got on his clothes) and I am anti-germ and body fluid type of person

Wow Lyn!! I can't believe that!!!! I would be about to burst!!!! How can the school not have at least changed his clothes!!!! why didn't they call you!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe they would let something like that happen!!!!!!!

I KNOW!!!!! and you all know me, I am always taking off of work...had they called I could have left and picked him up and washed him in hot water and scrubbed him with anti-bacterial soap then....not hours later :furious: I mean, if a kid pees on himself, they clean it up...why not someone elses pee and why didn't they tell DH....I don't understand... :sad2:

OMG!!!! :furious:

I just kind of assumed that he peed on his foot or the bottom of his pants leg but on his face! That's disgusting! I would even consider calling the health department about that!!!!

Well, by the time we found out it was too late to contact the school...we have to wait until next week. I am upset and they will get an earful, but it won't do anything to take back what happened....at this point, I am in survival mode and jsut want my kids safe and sanitary and happy...so, once I get them settled I can move back into furious, attack-cat mode again....I just think is was demeaning what was done to my son and he is a wonderful, bright, loving, blessing from God and shouldn't be made to feel that way...so, he isn't going back. Thankfully, we live in a nice area and our public school is one of the best (if not the the best) on the island...so that is good :thumbsup2

I have to clean up some and then make lunch for DH and his friends...but we may start packing today...that always cheers everyone up :goodvibes

ugghh!!!! I was/am so upset. Thankfully he didn't have cuts on his face...but usually my kids always have some kind of scraps or scratches...they play on the farm and w/ the animals and are monkeys everywhere.....it is just gross beyond words....

Poor Kid!! I know it had to be hard on him, why do kids think they can get away with stuff like that!! Their parents let them get away with crap like that at home and they think they can get away with it everywhere!! Just try to put it out of your mind for now. I know it will be hard for all of you, but you wll have to try. Just tell him you'll get him something extra special at WDW and hopefully he'll feel better. HAVE FUN PACKING!! Save room for me in your suitcase!!!! :rotfl:

At this point, I think we have comforted him and told him he didn't do anything wrong, the boy did and he knows he isn't going back there...so he is cheerful and happy. DH and I are still fuming....
