What a day !

And it is only half over

Good morning everyone.

Well I made it thru another Wonderful Walk. With a bit of excitment to go along with it.

Friday we got rained on before lunch and all thru lunch. And it was our longest day walking, 23 miles that day. We arrive into camp tired and hot only to find out that we have bad weather heading out way and camp will be closed and the are going to relocate camp to a Parking Garage. So we had to rush around and find our gear, eat and get showered to load up busing and head for our 7th Floor Penthouse Luxury Parking Garage for the night.
And did you know that in a parking garage the lights NEVER go out at night.

We wake up at 4:00 to pack up and load up buses to return to camp to dress, eat and get ready to start our 2nd day of walking. Only a mear 19 miles that day.
