Plus this is the first time I have EVER left DD for 3 days. And she is 7 years old.

She has only spent one night away from me at a time and it has only been like 3 or 4 times.

Just practicing on a crappy tuba. The guy in the chair above me decided to play the tuba I was using instead of the one he had, and since we use school instruments, and he is the higher chair, I had to give it to him. So now I am practicing to challenge him and get my tuba back.

soon my house will be empty of all the clutter-we are getting a dumpster as soon as it gets warmer and the snow melts and then were boxing up everything else(almost everything)

why an adults only weekend of course ( I just won't be wearing my heals )

This will be my first trip without DD. In a way I am very sad. I love to take DD to WDW.

our first trip w/o kids was our honeymoon. and it was weird at first (going to the parks without the kids -- not the honeymoon part) but its also a little nice doing grownup things at the parks. like we would never have any drinks (wine or other) with dinner with the kids or go to downtown disney later in the evening.

but I agree its great to go with the kids too!!!

Same here-my kids only started going to sleep overs when they were 8-9 and it was really hard to let them go

I am sure I will have fun, it will just be very weird.
She is going to be heart broken. I hope her and Daddy do something fun. She is normally not away from me. And I am the one she comes to.

She does have cookie booths on the Sat that I will be gone.

As a teacher and a parent, I hate when kids are not there on a friday.

Its easier to get back to normal on a tuesday, than have them all crazy on a thursday cuz no school on friday.

I know-it's been a crazy day with them home-and since I had to sleep for most of the day-it wasn't much fun for then either

This is what I have as of now. Only the one I have is like 30 years old and has a lot of dents.
