YUP!!!

I told DH I would pack light since it was just the two of us, but as I look at the weather and 4 days... its getting to be a heavy bag again

Its always nice to get away in the winter when there is NO SUN and its COLD!!!

two step kids (boy 16, girl 13) Boy (DS) lives with us and visits his mother on weekends, and the opposite for the girl (DD) DS goes to my high school so it made sense for him to live with us and go to school with me everyday. DD is still in 8th grade and her elementary school is near her mom's house. It works out well for everyone. (plus teenagers tend to fight ALOT when they are together too long!!! )

Both of the kids are going skiing with DH's brother in upper michigan that weekend (off for Pulaski Day) and it will be a weekend away for DH and me!!!

didn't you read back????? Yep-I sure did work-and we were pretty busy this morning-with a mini-code situation and my kiddo decided he was grumpy on top of that-and it was a typical monday morning

but now the phone rang-and DH,who's off today-went shopping or something-and of course it was the kids school!!!!

Nothing serious,just a time change for BB tonight-did you here that my DD won their Tournamet!!! and actually got to play-even had a break away run down the entire length of the court for a layup-too much excitement so she missed but boy was it good to see her finally play

I thought so!!! good planning-my DH would never suggest anything like that-we haven't been away ALONE!!!! in the entire +20 yrs we've been married and he just laughs when I suggest something like that-but one day we'll do it
