See ya Kathy Glad you liked the movie! But yeah they can be expensive!! last time we went to the movies the tickets were like $10 each and almost all of us fell asleep or have no idea what the movie was about

The movie and junk food was $64! I couldn't believe it.

And the popcorn was not the good stuff!

Now I remember why we never go to the movies! It's back to the dollar theater for us!

Well I will be on and off all weekend

I am off from work
but The girls and i have plans to sort thru the rooms and closets (see kelli youstarted something) so long is Erica is feeling better

The snow is wimping out here! We were supposed to get up to 9" by tomorrow morning. We only got about three inches last night, it's not snowing now -and- it's melting off already. Totally bummed!

I'm a new aunt (again )

my baby brother had his second child last night/ this morning.

little girl, 6.10, 20"

they named her Hazel.

mom and baby are fine!!!


Guess I'll drive down there today and welcome the first little girl into the family!!!!

One time we all went, mom, andie, my brother, sil nephew and I & I spent like $150 on tickets and food

I took my three boys plus one of their friends. Matthew still counts as a child, though!

I'm sitting here eating leftover movie popcorn for breakfast. It's actually better this morning than it was last night!

WOW!! I could never imagine seeing deer in Houston, much less in my yard!!
Sometimes they find a gator downtown though

That reminds me....when DH was in the Police Academy down in FL they actually had a class on gator wrestling. He did have a couple of times that he came across gators when he was on patrol. Did the gator wrestling class help - who knows....he just stood there with his gun drawn waiting for wildlife officers to show up!

Mine too. But last night it just wasn't that good...it wasn't typical movie popcorn. But this morning it tastes so much better, now that the butter has soaked through!

Tracy - what time are you going for the tattoo? Will they do it all in one seating?

I don't think DH would have cared if it understood or not! If it moved it was gonna be alligator boots for someone!

Another time down in FL he had a call of a snake in someone's backyard. When he got there the lady wouldn't even come out of the house. She just said it's in the backyard. He went around one side of the house and his partner went around the other, both with their guns drawn, thinking it was probably a rattler. They got to the back yard and both he and his partner saw it at the same time. He just stood there and his partner turned around and ran back to the front yard! It was a huge python. It was so big that they could see where it had been run over by both sides of a vehicle at once. Once they got wildlife officers there they stretched it out and it completely went from one side of the street to the other! DH would have brought it home if wildlife would have let him. But it was bigger than the legal limit for keeping. Can you imagine me...."Honey I'm home and look what followed me home from work!" I'm scared to death of snakes!
