Well it is almost time for me to go. I need to pack my suitcase and DD's than get the stuff ready by the door. Head off to my meeting than home to watch my taped Survivor. Than get some DIS time in before bed.

I know-we used FedEx to mail out some VHS Videos to my Neice(Disney ones of course) along with her X-Mas present and they just left it on the doorstep-well...some Scrooge stole it right off the porch!!!Bah-Humbug!!!

no, it wasn't pink eye DH wasn't feeling 100% in the morning and I guess he didn't wash her face before dropping her off at school (I left really early to make it to the store before work)...so it was just yuckies in there....but I will still have the doc look at it today.

DH is doing better. He said this is the BEST his nose system has been in weeks so hopefully it was just an infection and all the swelling will go away. He thinks that maybe the saline solution he used on his nose is what caused the throat thing so last night he sat up for a while after using the solution instead of going to bed right away...seemed to help. I am thinking positive today and my DS is doing well too.

Yesturday, in an afternoon meeting, someone asked me what was wrong since I looked so "washed out" ...yeh, thanks buddy...no soup for you!

I ordered something for DH and it was supposed to have been here over a week ago according to the website and shipping information...now I have been told that it takes 6 weeks to get here! I sent an e-mail stating that this is not what it said when I ordered and had I known that I would have purchased it elsewhere or shipped it differently. DH is so sad....hopefully it will get here before the end of the month

A little off topic but ~

I ordered some books for DH for Xmas but waited until the last minute to order so I had to pay $20 for shipping. They were sent guaranteed delivery by the Friday before Christmas and they showed up two days after Christmas. I asked for a full refund of my shipping cost. I know it wasn't the publisher's fault but they're the ones that would need to take it up with UPS and they really didn't want to have to mess with UPS. So the publisher asked me instead of a refund if I'd consider a free two-year subscription to their magazine. Uh, let's see....a magazine that DH subscribes to and LOVES that usually costs $52 a year and his subscription only had one issue left. I think I can handle that! DH was thrilled with the books, even if they were late, and then the subscription was like an extra gift!
