Oh how I love that feeling of working and really getting things done. Makes you want to do more.

I went to the doctor yesterday and was VERY pleased. My sugar is well within normal range, my bad cholestrol is good, and my triglycerides are good! I have fought with the cholestrol and triglycerides (sp) for two years now. I do need to lose some weight but at least now I only have to focus on that, not the cholestrol and trigycerides, too! My blood pressure was high but with what I had been through 24 hours prior to my appointment he kind of understood. I take medication for it and check it regularly and it has been good lately. So I was pretty happy!

Okay his throat getting tight would freak me out. But than again you never know if it is as bad as they say. DARN MEN!!!
::yes:: All I could think of was that his throat is getting smaller and about the horror stories of when people are allegic to something and that I would fall asleep and wake up in an hour and he would be gone.....so I stayed up for a couple hours and then hardly slept...but he was snoring really loud so I knew air was getting in. I wanted him to take benadryl and he wouldn't take it  I wanted to call 911 and he didn't want me too...which is why I was wondering if he wasn't as bad as he told me and was trying to stress me out. Then, this morning I wanted to go to the store before work...I usually try to hit it on Wed. when the new sales start....so this morning was a coffee day....this is how I look -------------> :surfweb:

This just cracked me up! :lmao:

MID LIFE CRISIS:

Mid-life is when the growth of hair on our legs slows down.
This gives us plenty of time to care for our newly acquired
mustache.

In mid-life women no longer have upper arms, we have wing spans.
We are no longer women in sleeveless shirts; we are flying
squirrels in drag.

Mid-life is when you can stand naked in front of a mirror and
you can see your rear without turning around.

Mid-life is when you go for a mammogram and you realize that
this is the only time someone will ask you to appear topless.

Mid-life is when you want to grab every firm young lovely in a
tube top and scream, "Listen honey, even the Roman empire fell
and those will too."

Mid-life brings wisdom to know that life throws us curves and
we're sitting on our biggest ones.

Mid-life is when you look at your know-it-all, cell phone,
beeper-wearing teenager and think: "For this I have stretch
marks?"

In mid-life your memory starts to go. In fact the only thing we
can retain is water.

Mid-life means that your Body By Jake now includes Legs By Rand
McNally -- more red and blue lines than an accurately scaled map
of Wisconsin.

Mid-life means that you become more reflective. You start
pondering the "big" questions. What is life? Why am I here?
How much Healthy Choice ice cream can I eat before it's no
longer a healthy choice?

But mid-life also brings with it an appreciation for what is
important. We realize that breasts sag, hips expand and chins
double, but our loved ones make the journey worthwhile. Would
any of you trade the knowledge that you have now for the body
you had way back when? Maybe our bodies simply have to expand
to hold all the wisdom and love we've acquired.

OK-Lyn's DH and anyone here who thinks they may be having an allergic reaction....Please just pop a benedryl to be on the safe side!!!! That or a claritin-it helps stop the allergic reaction and it wont hurt if your not having one either

Kayla-DH's tattoo looks great!!!
I need to find out about those epi pens people talk about for their kids allergic to peanuts. That way, if DH doesn't want to ingest a benedryl I can pop that pen on his butt!

::yes:: and now the school called me...they think DD might have pink eye :faint: DH just dropped them off and so now he has them again..he was supposed to be off work resting but this morning he said he was feeling better. I have meetings this afternoon so it is hard to take off, but may need to tomorrow. At least I already have an appointment with the ped. to remove the stiches...he can check her eye too. I just feel like the last few months have been never ending illnesses....at what point am I allowed to have breakdown?

This is too funny. :lmao: :lmao:

You may not know this but many non-living things have a gender.

1) Ziploc Bags are Male, because they hold everything in, but you can
see right through them.

2) Copiers are Female, because once turned off; it takes a while to warm

them up again. It's an effective reproductive device if the right
buttons
are pushed, but can wreak havoc if the wrong buttons are pushed.

3) A Tire is Male, because it goes bald and it's often over-inflated.

4) A Hot Air Balloon is Male, because, to get it to go anywhere, you
have to
light a fire under it, and of course, there's the hot air part.

5) Sponges are Female, because they're soft, squeezable and retain
water.

6) A Web Page is Female because it's always getting hit on.

7) A Subway is Male, because it uses the same old lines to pick people
up.

8) An Hour glass is Female, because over time, the weight shifts to
the bottom.

9) A Hammer is Male, because it hasn't changed much over the last 5,000
years, but it's handy to have around.

10) A Remote Control is Female. Ha! You thought it'd be male, didn't
you?
But consider this,-it gives a man pleasure, he'd be lost without it, and

while he doesn't always know the right buttons to push, he keeps trying!
:lmao:

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Thats a good one!!!! :thumbsup2
