I did that yesterday-I found out that our insurance cancelled out on the 19th of December(car and house) so thankfully I got it reinstated

I had called prior to leaving -since this is a new policy-and asked if I could pay it on the 30th-Oh,no problem!!! Thank th Lord we didn't get into any accidents while we were gone

I'm glad it's quiet here(for the patients sake) but it really makes the hours drag by I'm so tired already

I know my mom said they sent alot of patients home from the hospital for the holidays, did they do that where you work too kim?

They try and send some home-but in my unit,the only place you go from here is up to the floor(to a medical unit) or to the morgue(sad but true) we rarely get to send patients home straight from the ICU-it happens,but it's rare

My little guy got to do that-he went straight home with home care-that's cause he was here for over 3 months

WOW! That's a long time!! I hate when I would have to deliver to the icu, or to the pedi floor. It always made me cry when I would have to deliver to icu and it was a kid.
