This night is really slow-it did get busy in the begining-we have a lot of cancer kids on the pod I'm working on-Diagnosed right before X-Mas with Cancer-the families are going crazy with worry-sad around here

I should get some-about 5-6hrs then back here for another night-We're going to my Mom's for our early Christmas dinner-at least I don't have to cook

I forgot
must be the lack of sleep

I normally go to bed early with DH since i am up with him
well last night Erica kept coming up with things that needed
my attention right then

finally at 10 I said ENOUGH GO TO SLEEP or WATCH TV just LEAVE ME ALONE
unless YOU ARE BLEEDING and it BETTER BE A GUSHER

so i finally fall asleep and SIL calls me
she knows better but was all excited cause her sis got engaged last night

Good for her -but she could of waited to let you know-DH gets so mad if anyone calls after 9pm(it better be an emergency in his book)

When we first had Jess
we told everyone Nicely that after 8 pm please do not call unless it is an emergany
DH worked long hours and that was our family time
well my family got it and still very rarely calls knowing we are either with the kids or in bed
We have always had issues with DH family

even the girls friends from school "get" it and never call after 8

but i have to work a long shift today so I am gonna go lay back down and see if I can get an extra 2 hours

I'm sure it will be a good ride home!!! Only got in one accident after working the night shift-but that was on a Hot summer day-with the airconditioner buzzing and after taking the Kids to camp and stopping at the store-way too many things to do after the night shift

Today it's a straight shot home and into bed!!!!
