Most of ours is woods too. And we're thinking of having some of it logged next year. Our house sits on about 4 acres and about 3 acres is cleared and about 1 is wooded. But then we also own about 31 acres across the road and only about 2 of that is cleared and the rest is wooded (some of it pretty heavily wooded).

and made 3000
and they only took the Pine not the hard woods

well the snow finally stopped
we ended up with 10 inches

When we bought it

we had them log maybe 2 of the acres
and made 3000
and they only took the Pine not the hard woods

3000 with only pine is great. Most of ours is hardwoods, which hopefully will bring some good $.

the guy was really wanting to take them all off all 4 acres but we said nope just the front 2

Smart move! I can't imagine clearing it all and not having any woods around the house. Even with ours, if we have it done, we'll be picking and choosing so that it's not stripped.
