Next county over-senseless deaths-I can't imagine the Mom's pain right now-not only her daughter but her husband too!!!!

It is so crazy to be on the ice this early in the winter and withthe wack y weather everyone has had
so sad i can't even begin to imagine what the Momis going thru

the kid is now nicknamed tank cause he is a llittle chunk

Kelli i saw that you are staying at the Saratoga springs resort that
is cool
the funny thing is I live in the real saratoga Springs (well about 10 miles north but still Saratoga county)
and i am in Saratoga all the time
I wonder how much the resort is really themed after the real town??

Another reason to hate winter!!!!!

My parents live right on a lake and are members of the fire dept there aand they have one of the wet suits so they can go in the lake in the winter

thank God they havent had to use it yet
most people there are being smart

my kids want to skate but they know i won't even think about it till Jan
and then my cousin checks the ice and we stay in close to the shore

last year my other cousin thought he would Plow a skating rink on the lake
his new truck sank very quickly
thank God he was OK
but it kinda tought everyone a lesson

I bet there is alot about horses there as that is big in town
and maybe the hot springs

I know-when we move to GA I think I'll work at a Mom/Baby-NICU unit where I will get to hold babies all the time-I'm tired of all the death and dying

Just this weekend we had a 12yo fall thru the ice on his ATV-he died in our unit-and that same weekend a 9yo girl fell thru the ice and die Plus her Dad died too trying to save her Kids just don't realize that the ice isn't thick enough yet

I saw the one about the girl and the Dad. I was wondering how close that was to you.

My brother lives on a big lake in Maine now. I hope to heck they wait until the darn thing freezes. He keeps telling me my nephew can't wait to skate. And my brother is the kind that doesn't like to be told things. Just hope he is smart in this case.
