I went to Walmart when I got off work at 4 yesterday afternoon. The crowds were unbearable and best of all they still had some of the 5 a.m - 11 a.m. specials!!! We've been wanting to get all of the kids portable dvd players for Xmas but they're about $100 for the cheapest ones. I got them yesterday afternoon for $68 each and they had the bags for them for only $9.97! I was sooooo thrilled!

That is a GREAT deal. I wish I would have gotten another one just because it was a good price.

Target was pretty good because they had a lot of what was on sale and it was a two day sale not just 5 hours like everyone else.

I can't believe I survived the trip. My DD was sleeping when my dad came and DH was late to get home. DD wakes up while we are loading the car and begins to throw up . So, we think o.k. maybe it is just mucus (sp?) and we clean things up and everyone gets in the car. DH forgets something, we go back home and get it. Now we are really running late. DD throws up in the car on her self and me while I take care of her. Stop the car and clean her up well...start driving. I grab what I can from the luggage and change clothes...this is when I really start wondering if we should go. DH says it will be o.k. Well, DD didn't throw up after that and was really good for the first 1/2 hour flight, the 1 1/2 layover, the nearly 8 hour flight, layover and the 2 1/2 flight here both DD and DS sleep the whole thing. My DS was great the whole time, didn't complain once and was well behaved...I ended up being nausios (sp?) the whole time from the bug we caught and was sick on the last leg...I was praying on the last flight we would make it ....and we did

We have been taking it somewhat easy since we go here...everyone is almost 100%, we still have little dry coughs, but our room is dry at night and our first night was cool...we are having fun

I really like the hotel, food court is great, I am right by the laundry room and the bus stop is near us. We went to see the fireworks at MK our first night, on Thursday we woke up really late so we did Downtown Disney and La Nouba (which was REALLY GREAT). Yesturday we went to EPCOT, but it was very busy....so we walked around the WorldShowcase and did a couple uncrowed rides. This morning I wanted to go to Animal Kingdom on the early entry, but I am the only one awake...so we will see where we go today when everyone wakes up. We have plans to see the Hoop-Dee-Do tonight

Hey Lyn!! Glad ya'll are all haveing a great time, & glad everyone is feeling better! It sucks to be sick at wdw!! i don't do so well with the heat, and when we went I kept feeling like I was gonna pass out every so often. I bought so many bottles of water you would think I was a fish out of water . Glad everyone liked La Nouba!! It's an awsome show!!

WOW Kathy!! That's GREAT! I didn't even think to go see f I could still get the sales price later in the day I should have though that's another thing andie has been bugging me for for x-mas.I think she wants too much

They were making announcements that any of the items that they still had in stock that had been advertised on the 5-11 circular they would sell at those prices until all were gone!

There is no way I can catch up on the 70 something pages I missed . DH is up so I am going to get ready too I miss everyone...and I can't wait to see Kliz and Kelli this week and by the way, Kephanie, you are the same age as my DH...he graduated from high school in '92....I did in '93, but no matter what, Tracy is still the youngest from the girls (I think)

That's really good! I don't think the Wal-mart I go to here would have had any left though. It get's crazy! Last year I saw woman walking around with like 10 gameboys each b/c they were on sale.

We get to go get our Christmas tree today! I can't wait. I hope it's not too crowded. There are a lot of out-of-towners up here this weekend and lots of cars with Christmas trees tied to their roofs!

Do you all go and cut down the tree? My favorite uncle and his family do that every year, but they have to drive way out of town to do it, I've always wanted to do that but I'd rather just drive down a few blocks to the huge tree lot down the street

Yes, we go to a tree farm and pick out the tree and they cut it down for us. My DH knows the owner of one of the farms nearby and he actually has all the trees planted way up on a hill. So you get to go on a hay ride to get up to the trees. Then you can walk around and find just the right tree. DH always laughs at me 'cause I'll pick one, and then change my mind, and then change my mind again and then after about a dozen trees I end up back at the first one!
