Just got off the phone with a close family friend of ours in PA and . Boys call them Nana and Grandpa. "Grandpa" is in the hospital and was just diagnosed yesterday with a brain tumor. They are going to be operating next Wednesday. The tumor is right near the lobe for speech. They don't know if it's cancerous. OMG! I feel like I've been hit by a train! Nana was my mom's foster sister when she was growing up and she's about 10 years younger than my mom was. Nana and Grandpa are the closest thing we have to real family. Nana needs someone to be with her Wednesday and I guess I need to try to figure out if I can go. It's about a 10-12 hour drive from here. I could use some hugs!

These aren't my pictures but these are from last year when it snowed here. This is more than we saw but different parts of town got more than we did

If we only got that little bit of snow
we would still be in T shirts
we ended up with 6 inches and will have way more before the season is over
