I can do an air matress for one night camping...after that I wake up too sore.

that is what my deal is. i told my sis that i will be in pain and not a happy camper....i will have to sleep on this wed and thursday night

We have one that fits in the back of our pickup truck...and we have a truck tent too. It is nice when camping since you are off the ground...but more than one night and I have pains all over.

When I went camping I was lucky I had a tent & a sleeping bag

When my DH was young, they would go camping for a weekend with basically the clothes on their backs, a towel or a blanket and a couple cans of food...if they didn't catch fish, they would eat whatever was in the cans...if they were lucky enough to remember a can opener and sometimes they didn't even cook whatever food they had ...sometimes they wouldn't even bring fresh water when we go camping as a family I think that I (the overpacker) take everything but the kitchen sink Don't worry though, I have a cooler I use to wash hands and dishes
