yeah I do!! I'm gonna sit at my desk and eat chips all day

Now that's a plan. I may join you. I'm not gonna do much. I feel like I deserve a weekend off. I'm gonna do some cooking and baking and sitting around!

Sounds like fun I do know we are gonna go get Andie's christmas toys out of layaway though. I hate to fight the crowds. I hate walmart but being able to put them away works so well for us b/c if we didn't put them on layaway I know we would end up giving them to her early

The boys want to go to Walmart today but with the weather report I told them they'd have to wait 'til tomorrow. I don't want to get stuck out when the sleet starts. Snow I can handle but not sleet. DH did bring the truck home in the middle of the night though so at least we do have the 4-wheel drive back.

I do need to get to Walmart soon for a frame....DH came home this morning with a formal commendation for his action at work last Friday. He and another deputy were first on the scene to a house fire and they went into the house without any protective gear and rescued the residents! They got a man and a woman, both in their 70's, out of the house. I'm very proud of him! He just shakes it off - it's his job he says!

DS just came over to the computer with a bowl of sour creme and an empty bowl and stole half my chips for his bowl!!

She's a tomboy star wars nerd (but we love her anyway! ) so she's getting a ton of star wars stuff. I hope we got what she wanted though b/c I know nothing about SW That's all from Santa, but I got her a cell phone, and I'm gonna get her some clothes.

Yes, I really freaked out. If he had done it when he was with the fire department and had his gear on I really wouldn't have thought too much about it. But to go into a burning building while on duty as a sheriff's deputy that's different. But I know him and that's the way he is.

I've always teased him that it's bad enough to have been married to a cop but then he's got to go and do firefighting as a hobby! What about fishing, or woodworking??? Something a little less dangerous.

Yeah but if he went fishing he would do extreme fishing and try to catch salmone with the bears in the forest with his hands or something
